This is an absolutely brilliant idea - Latex allergy here too - Question - Could you use this technique for sculpting scares ect , so you can glue them on or making a latex free version of your Hellraiser cenobites ? would love for you too reply xxx

I'm guessing it could be done though the gelatine is a lot more difficult to shape. Maybe if you create a mold or something to pour the gelatine into it could be done more easily :)

try a product called Fx gelatin cubes from amazon. By the time you figure out the proper portions of gelatin,it will have cost you less to buy it already mixed.

Hi There elli I was wondering if you can use this technique to do a old age face? Like with liquid latex were you pull the skin tight while applying and then let go making wrinkles. You probably know what I mean but would it work with gelatin?
  71. aaron lawrence

does the gelatin not break down or ruin if you start to sweat??
  72. Aline Bouillaud

Hi! Super Tutorial! I have one question about the mix of gelatine. Someone told me that I have to add some glycerine in it to be sure that le gelatine does not crack on my face (or get off when I sweat). I'll make a Freddy Krueger burned face on my boyfriend for an halloween party and I want to be sure he is "comfortable" all night and that the make up stay in place. Is Glycerine important in the process ? Thank u!
